Kathryn DeLong focuses her practice on complex civil disputes. Her experience includes commercial contract disputes, breach of contract, employment noncompete, business torts, securities matters, bad faith insurance claims, insurance coverage disputes, and antitrust litigation, as well as franchise-related disputes, professional liability defense, and product liability cases.

Kathryn enjoys problem-solving, remains calm under pressure, and is excellent at identifying risks and prioritizing and addressing issues. She takes a proactive approach, helping to develop creative and well-reasoned legal arguments based on her clients’ goals.

Before joining the firm, Kathryn clerked for the Honorable Harry D. Leinenweber of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She began her law career as a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Chicago.

Representative Matters

Served on the jury trial team that achieved a $20 million verdict against Walmart in Fayetteville, Arkansas, which was the largest plaintiffs’ verdict of its kind by that court.
